Caboolture man claims to see a UFO twice

Caboolture man claims to have seen two UFO's - flying over Toohey Street.

One was on January 5 and the other January 30.
The first sighting was a bright white light travelling slower than a normal plane.
The second sighting, a similar light, was travelling northwest, before making a sudden 40 degree turn and then disappearing.
He is asking for others to come forward to corroborate his story.

The Caboolture area is a main thoroughfare for aircraft travelling to Caboolture, Redcliffe and Brisbane airports.

Animal Slaughter at Morayfield

Twenty ducks and chooks have been decapitated at a property at Morayfield.   Some had their wings removed.

Neighbours also had one chook killed, and another six are still missing.

Last year, in the same area, a horse at a neighbours property was belted across the head with a pole.  The horse is still traumatised.

It is suspected that locals carried out the killings.

Caboolture Needs Urgent Action

For the last two weeks, Caboolture News has been running a survey on what people think of Caboolture, and whether they are embarrassed to live in Caboolture.  Well the results are in -
54% of people are embarrassed to say they live in Caboolture.
30% said no and
14% said they didn't live in Caboolture.   Poll Results

So the majority of people are ashamed to call Caboolture home.  These results paint a true picture of Caboolture.  Caboolture needs urgent action.  When will the authorities begin listening to what the people are saying?

Some comments people have left on Caboolture News Facebook site (Feb 5) are:
"Caboolture is scum
There is no future in Caboolture
I used to love living here, but in the last few years, I have had nothing but trouble.
It's usually pretty quiet here when the hoons aren't out.
I don't even take my kids to the parks - due to broken glass and needles. It's the norm here.
Used to be a nice town 20 years ago -not anymore. It's a shithole."

Of course there were some positive comments too:
"There are worst places to live.
It's not the place, it's the people living here that's the problem.
I've never seen anything bad happen.
I don't think it's as bad as the media make it out to be.
I think Caboolture has a lot to offer."

Caboolture News has put up two stories from people living at Caboolture:

The first story concerns a family who now hate Caboolture. The local park has been destroyed, kids have stolen their mail, egged their house and kids are doing burnouts every weekend. Every weekend there is a house on their street damaged. They constantly need to call the police.

The other story is from a woman who loves Caboolture.  Caboolture has everything she needs. She states she had heard about a lot of crime in the area - but she had never been a victim of it. She states she has never felt scared living in Caboolture.
